Delete your account

What deleting your account does

• It is permanent. There is no undo, and we cannot restore the account afterwards.
• Your name, photo, email address and phone number are erased. Wherever you appear in a household’s shared history you become “Deleted user”.
• You leave every household you do not own. Households you created keep their shared expenses, messages and chores, because that history belongs to the other members too.
• You are signed out on every device, and your email address becomes free to use for a new account.

Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account — only this does.
